tfot event pic

This event was an open discussion on Terrorism, its types and effects on our Communities. The event took place less than a month after the horrific atrocities in Paris.

The event aimed to show the many faces of terrorism, inform attendees on the backlash on local & national Muslims and give the local perspective on the matter at hand.

The Panel of Scholars, Academics and Speakers discussed:

  • Are ISIS Islamic?
  • Are all Terrorists Muslims?
  • How has Terrorism affected British Muslims?
  • Should Muslims Condemn Terrorism

“I learnt a lot from the talk & a lot of things regarding racism. I felt really welcomed by the people & at no point did I feel singled out due to my skin colour or anything else of that nature.”
